Zipper and button handbag

I went to the local fabric store here, oh dear I love that place so much. Everyone is so friendly and the fabrics....!! I wish I am rich enough to buy all kind of fabric I want. Then my eyes just locked on these fabrics. They sold the fabric with the purse pattern. I was thinking, since it has been awhile I neglected my sewing machine so why not buying the package of fabric and purse pattern together THEN starting to sew!

Got 98% almost done making this purse, then my lovely “terrible two” son called me for supper. Oh dear it was 7 at night and I forgot to cook. Rushing to the refrigerator to look if I still have left over food. There, I found one “taste frying noodles”. BUT soon I close the refrigerator I found my son monkey around on my sewing table “NO…………!!” that’s only word came out as I saw him holding a scissor. OH, TOO LATE! He cut 2 straights about almost 1 inch. Nothing can be fixed. SAD? Oh yes. He is an active boy, one minute he is playing with toys and next he is gone. “I am sorry mommy” with his little hand rubbed on my face. Just melted my heart away!

Stamp necklace

Trying out something that I haven't made before. Applying stamp and metallic powder on the polymer clay. I bought a small stamp from Michaels Art and Craft store here. This place is like a heaven for me... ah ha have I ever been in heaven? LOL Why I said that Michaels store is like an heaven for me, that because they carry all kind of cool stuff for craft! It is very hard to get out from that store empty handed.

Anyway, as the project is to make necklace. I chose the color light blue and translucent for the polymer clay. Then blend it with metallic powder. As my wonderful - busy body son was most the time bored to be left alone, so nothing make him more exciting unless putting his finger on my project LOL. In this case I have to put the project aside when he was around. So it took me couples of days to get this project done.

Peww... finally the project has done though. A little necklace with a lady and hat design. Nothing fancy and yet special for this necklace, it is just my first attempt using stamp for polymer clay.

Sweet Yellow Corn

As summer is here, we can find corn easily on the market. The price is pretty cheap right now. I have been making things from polymer clay for sometimes, but it is on and off due of crazy schedule between being a mom and run the house at the same time.

Well,... my craft project for today is "CORN". I went to Wallmart super store buying some corn for bbq. The sweet lovely corn will be just perfectly good to accompany hamburgers. YUMM....!

The size of this corn is about 1/2 inch. I use Fimo polymer clay. I don't use any specific polymer clay, just buy anything on sale at the crafts store. Green and yellow color, they are match!

Now, time to eat my real corn. I am hungry.....!!
